歐洲標準化委員會(huì ) (CEN) 于2013年4月底公布新歐洲標準《EN 16139 : 2013》。

EN 16139:2013 Furniture – Strength, durability and safety – Requirements for non-domestic seating

This European Standard specifies requirements for the safety, strength and durability of all types of non-domestic seating intended to be used by adults with a weight of not more than 110 kg, including office visitor chairs. This European Standard does not apply to ranked seating, office work chairs, chairs for educational institutions, outdoor seating and to links for linked seating for which European Standards or drafts exist. It does also not apply to work chairs for industrial use. This European Standard does not include requirements for the durability of upholstery materials, castors, reclining and tilting mechanisms and seat height adjustment mechanisms. This European Standard does not include requirements for the resistance to ageing, degradation and flammability.

All kind of chairs for non domestic use can be assessed according to this standard.

歐洲標準化委員會(huì ) (CEN) 于2013年4月底公布新歐洲標準《EN 16139 : 2013》。

該標準關(guān)注非家用座椅，如旋轉座椅、附設滑輪及無(wú)輪座椅、辦公室訪(fǎng)客座椅和同類(lèi)座椅的測試要求。新標準的測試方法以其他歐洲標準沿用的方法為本。該新標準要求于2013年9月前撤回與其沖突的標準。有鑒于此，新標準將于2013年8月終生效。其內容結合了《EN 15373 : 2007非家用座椅的強度、耐用性和安全要求》(EN 15373 : 2007 Re Strength; Durability and Safety of non - Domestic Seating) 和《EN 13761 : 2002辦公室訪(fǎng)客座椅要求》 (EN 13761 : 2002 Re Office Visitors Chairs)。換言之，該兩項標準會(huì )被《EN 16139 : 2013》取代。

新標準涵蓋所有供體重不足 110 公斤 (kg) 成人使用的非家用座椅的安全、強度和耐用性。這卻不包括連排座椅、教育機構使用座椅、戶(hù)外座椅和工業(yè)用途的工作座椅。

新標準并不涉及項目，如室內裝飾材料、腳輪及后仰程度、傾斜程度和高度調校裝置的耐用性要求。此外，新標準亦不包括就對抗座椅老化、衰退和易燃性的要求。

1）邊，角(所有使用者在實(shí)際使用中直接接觸到的部件的邊和角必須倒圓角或斜角，其他接觸到的部件必須沒(méi)有鋒利的邊或毛刺)

2） 管狀部件，開(kāi)孔以及使用過(guò)程中接觸到的間隙等

3）剪切和擠壓等危險點(diǎn)

4）座面強度、沖擊及疲勞測試

5）靠背強度、疲勞測試

6）扶手靜載強度、沖擊及疲勞測試

7）椅腿的向前靜載強度測試

8）椅腿側向靜載強度測試

9）穩定性測試（前向穩定性，側向穩定性，后向穩定性等）
